ENTERING DATA INTO TRACS:

Entering data into the various TRACS fields is easy! Here are examples of the various TRACS data fields.

Example of a data FIELD

• To ENTER data into a FIELD, simply click on the field and type in your data.
• To EXIT the field simply click onto another field using the MOUSE.

Example of a DROP-DOWN MENU

Some fields contain hidden lists which can be viewed by clicking on the field. These are called DROP-DOWNS. Drop downs are used to help avoid repetitive typing and to keep spelling consistent.

• To VIEW the contents of a DROP-DOWN, simply click on the field using the MOUSE.
• To highlight a selection, just move the MOUSE up or down.
• To SELECT the highlighted data click the mouse.

Example of a BUTTON

Grey boxes are called BUTTONS. Buttons are often used to process the next step.

• To utilize a BUTTON, simply click on the button using the MOUSE.
